Abstract
Doğal afetler, toplumun fiziksel, ekonomik, sosyal ve psikolojik yapısını etkileyen olağanüstü olaylardır. Doğal afetlerin sosyolojik etkileri, afet sonrası toplumun nasıl değiştiği, nasıl tepki verdiği, nasıl başa çıktığı, nasıl iyileştiği ve nasıl önlem aldığı ile ilgilidir. Bu etkiler, afetin türüne, şiddetine, süresine, meydana geldiği bölgeye, toplumun kültürel, ekonomik ve siyasi yapısına, afet yönetimi ve yardım politikalarına bağlı olarak değişir. Doğal afetlerin sosyolojik etkilerini incelemek, afetlere karşı toplumsal direnci, dayanışmayı, uyumu ve iyileşmeyi artırmak, afet risklerini azaltmak ve afetlere hazırlıklı olmak için önemlidir. Bu çalışmada, veri tabanlarından ulaşılan tez, makale ve bildiri türündeki dokümanlar, doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Bu inceleme sırasında, araştırmaların konusu, yöntemi, çalışma grubu, veri toplama aracı, analiz yöntemleri, depremlerin sosyolojik etkileri ve bulguları ele alınmıştır.

Abstract
Natural disasters are extraordinary events that affect the physical, economic, social and psychological structure of society. The sociological effects of natural disasters are related to how the society changes, reacts, copes, recovers and takes precautions after the disaster. These effects vary depending on the type, intensity, duration, region, cultural, economic and political structure of the society, disaster management and aid policies. Studying the sociological effects of natural disasters is important to increase social resilience, solidarity, adaptation and recovery against disasters, to reduce disaster risks and to be prepared for disasters. In this study, documents such as thesis, article and paper obtained from databases were examined using document analysis method. During this examination, the subject, method, study group, data collection tool, analysis methods, sociological effects of earthquakes and findings of the researches were discussed.
